Twenty four members from the Orange Elks Lodge visited the Long Beach Veterans Hospital to treat 25 Veterans to a Christmas in July. Elks from several other lodges in the Orange Coast District were also there... The lodge provided $100 dollars for Bingo, a gift bag that included toiletry gifts, Elks playing cards and a hand written note that said “Thank you for serving our county and for defending our lives, liberties and freedom. We are truly grateful for you" signed Merry Christmas in July7, Orange Elks Lodge #1475. This is a special program our lodge does to show our appreciation to the veterans for their part in keeping our country safe.

The gift bags included: 2 pair of socks, brush and a mirror, toothbrush and tooth paste, Gold Bond power, Chap Stick, tissues, hand cream, shampoo and Elks playing cards.
