Orange Elks Lodge # 1475 visits the Long Beach Veterans

Seventeen members from the Orange Elks Lodge # 1475 entertained 27 veterans at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital. The lodge furnished coffee, punch and cookies and  donated $100 in prize money for the bingo games that were played.

Orange Elks member Ross Seymour brought his two sons who jumped in serving and helping the Veterans with the game. Pictured below ( L – R) are Ross’s sons Derek and  Ricky with Viet Nam Army Veteran Felix Peralta and Ross.

Great pictures!

During the Lodge Meeting on 9/16, Mark Walker, PER, announced that a new PA system was needed.

I might have a buddy that can help us, but I need to know if this PA system will be the property of the Lodge, or will it be donated to the VA hospital?

Many thanks!
