Around the lodge at Christmas E.N.F means “Extra Nice Feeling”!
This year our lodge chairmen for Christmas Baskets, Jim Jung and Colin Smith,  organized another successful event. The lodge members donated $5,400 , lodge member Paul Roper donated all the produce for the baskets and new member Jason Wilkerson donated 200 boxes used for packing.  On Friday the Kitchen Crew prepared a spaghetti dinner for 208 Lodge members, family and friends.

After dinner 200 Christmas baskets were packed for selected families in need in the city of Orange.

The baskets included everything for a wonderful Christmas dinner and a $15 gift card.

On Saturday 47 Elks members, their family and friends met at the lodge and delivered the Christmas baskets.

Several dinners were left over and delivered to the Homeless Veterans Manor House in Santa Ana. The produce that was extra was given to Mary’s Kitchen in Orange which feeds homeless people.

The best part of the day was seeing the families who received the baskets reactions!
