For his project, he built a basketball court at the Covenant Community Church. Outside of scouting, Garrett is a member of Calvary Chapel Old Towne and planning to attend A Vision for Life six week mission in Hungary. He will graduate from Villa Park High School where he was a sprinter on the Track and Field running the 200, 400 and a member of the 4 x 4 relay team. He will attend Santiago Canyon College and purse a degree in Biology.
Many congratulation letters were received from people all over the United States including former president George and Barbara Bush, Pope Francis, Rudy Giuliani, U S Senators and Assembly members, N A S A and State of California, County of Orange and City of Orange politicians to name a few.

In his acceptance, Garrett thanked several people including past Scout Leader Michael O’Donoghue and his mom Lisa. Under Michael’s watch as scout leader, Michael has watched seven of his former scouts receive the Eagle Scout honor and his mom has watched her second son get the Eagle Award.
Garrett is a “Doer”, has a sense of humor and made it fun for the scouts as a leader.
