Image shows corner view looking northeast of the three-story building, with the Orange Sporting Goods store in the ground-level corner space of the building. (The business closed in 2003.) Visible at far right is the Elks Lodge sign. An American flag flies atop the building.

Summary: Underwoods Blacksmith Shop in Orange, California, 1926. Image shows interior view of the shop with three employees, identified as Andy Trewitt, Neale C. Kurtz, and Jack Underwood (owner), standing near equipment. The shop was located in back of Wheeler Manufacturing on North Orange Street, on the east side of the street, now a parking lot, listed under " ; Autos and Repairs" ; in the 1913-14 Thurston's Directory, at 125 N. Orange Street, Orange, California.

This was where the parking lot now is on the north side of Orange Elks Lodge 1475.

Summary: Wheeler Mfg. Co. building, located at 125 North Orange Street, Orange, California, 1925. Image shows view of Frank Wheeler's tire shop, with three automobiles parked in front of brick building and several employees posed for the camera. Identified are Neale C. Kurtz (3rd from left), "Son" King, Mr. King (owner of tire shop), Jack Underwood (standing by King's son), Frank Wheeler (by door), a young boy who could be Ted Hower (Jack's step son), and an unidentified tire salesman. Site of the building is now a bank parking lot.
