Recently, the Orange Elks Lodge received a call from the Band Director at El Modena HS. He needed of more instruments for the band and orchestra. Mike Cash contacted one of our community partners, Acoustic for a Change, and our lodge members for assistance. We received two violas, a cello, a saxophone, a clarinet and a guitar for their Band and Orchestra program. The El Modena band program has experienced an unexpected surge of interest in music. The instruments were donated by lodge members Lynn Butler and Marilyn Dinger and community partner Acoustic for a Change.
