P. E. R. John Stone designated the fifth Wednesday of the month as a “Fun Night or Open Meeting Night” for the Orange Elks Lodge and that’s just what we did! The night was a Pine Wood Derby with the proceeds going to our Boy Scout Troop 1475. Our “Silver Tongue Announcer” Don Westerfield, Trustee, proceeded over the event. Close to $200 was raised.

Mark Gillispie had the fastest car that evening. After the awards ceremony, he donated his car to one of our scouts.
