Veterans, Parrot Heads and Elks
The Veterans Committee of the Orange Elks held a Jimmy Buffet Night Dinner to support our Scout program and the Veterans program. There is a song that Buffet sings, “We Are The People Our Parents Warned You About” and our members and guests turned out to do just that! “As long as there is a Vet, the Elks will never forget” Members of our boy scout troop # 1475 served eighty three dinners. A raffle was held and $475 was split between our scouts and veterans programs. The Orange Lodge has a Boy Scout Troop, a Girl Scout Troop, a Webelo Den, a Cub Scout Pack, a Tiger Cub Pack, a Brownie Group and a Daisies Group.
The lodge is very proud or our scouting programs!
