The Orange Elks celebrate National Youth Week with our annual Youth Appreciation Night program.
We honor the youth of our community by showcasing the many programs the Lodge has for our young people. Forty-one kids were recognized.
The Boys and Girls Scouts of Troop #1475 presented the flag, followed by the pledge of Allegiance and Kalista Brown, Miss Orange, singing the National Anthem.

There were Americanism Essay winners, Youth Centers of Orange winners, and Drug Awareness posters and video winners.
The lodge recognized Hunter Smith for achieving his Eagle Scout Award. Hunter is the sixteenth Eagle Scout from the lodges Boy Scout Troop 1475 since 2006. The Eagle Scout Award is the highest honor the Boy Scouts of America offers.
Scholarship Chairmen Lynda Einstein introduced nine outstanding high school seniors. The lodge awarded $14,000 in scholarships.
Several individuals from our Antler program. Awards were for Teenager of the month, Antler Officer of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Victoria Vega received Teenager of the Year Award.
