The Eagle Scout Court of Honor is the highest honor the Boy Scouts of America offers.
Hunter has been around scouts before he was old enough to be a Scout. As his 2 older brothers were in cubs Hunter spent his early years attending family Cub Pack meetings and camp outs. He couldn’t wait to join scouts himself.
Hunter entered as a Tiger and eventually earned the highest rankArrow of Light. As a Cub Scout Hunter earned rank advancements, earned various activity badges, including the Cub Scout outdoor activity badge, andhe also earned his Whistling Chip.
Hunter Bridged over intoTroop 1475. During his time in the troop, Hunter earned all his rank advancements working his way towards Eagle Scout. Along the way Hunter earned an additional 13 merit badges beyond what was needed for Eagle and joined Order of the Arrow. Hunter has held various leadership positions throughout his time in Troop 1475.
Hunter’s Eagle project was a beautification project at Orange County Fire Authority - Station 82, in Garden Grove. Hunter oversaw the planting of drought tolerant, low-profile plants and steppingstones leading to the door of the station. Part of the project also included the placement of a sunshade over the firehouse patio.
