Seventeen members representing the Orange Elks went to Camp Pendleton to serve lunch to some very special people.  These were 250 Wounded Warriors and their families.

This is the second time the Orange Elks have done this event. One of the encouraging signs of the event is the lower numbers of injured soldiers at the event. These are service people who incurred a service injury or illness on or after 9/11.

Today, we all agreed that of the many things we have done with the Elks over the years, this was one of the most rewarding. At the end of the day we also enjoyed the lunch.
