This week, the Orange Elks Lodge Honored a Veterans and Supported two of our Community Partners.

Breast Cancer Angels.
We presented a check to Lisa Erickson, Executive Director of  Breast Cancer Angels. This incredible organization provides immediate support to individuals bravely fighting breast cancer, helping ease the financial burdens that come with their journey.

The Lodge donated $1,000 to the Orange City Firefighters Foundation. Elks are proud to give back to our community those who serve us every day! These are men and women who run toward danger to protect us.

If it is the third Thursday of the month, the Orange Elks will be doing their monthly flag ceremony at the Plaza.

The Orange Elks work with several of our Community Partners, the city of Orange Fire Department, the Orange Police Department, the Assistance League, the Orange Emblem Club, the American Legion, the Orange Elks Antlers, the Legion Riders, the Orange High School Marine Jr. ROTC and Orange Elks members to make this program a success.

This months Flag Over the Plaza honored Air Force Veteran Scott Conniff who passed away on March 1st . Scott was a retired Fire Fighter for the city of Orange, a United State Aire Force veteran, a five-year Elk, and a member of the American Legion.  This morning we raised a flag over the plaza in his honor and presented it to his wife Monika in his memory.

The next Flags Over the Plaza is May 21st.
The Orange Elks: "So long as there are veterans, the Orange Elks will never forget them!"

These events remind us of what it truly means to be an Orange Elks serving our community with compassion and generosity.
