One of the best events the Orange Elks hold each year is the Law Enforcement & Firefighter Appreciation Dinner.
This event is an evening where the Orange Elks come out and show their appreciation to those HEROS who risk their lives every day protecting our city of Orange and making it a better and safer place to live.
These are men and women who run toward danger to protect and save people!  This year?s Appreciation Dinner recognized 2021 and 2022 police and fire personnel.

Our Co-Chairmen Janine Strom and Jennifer Weerheim organized a group of volunteers that set up the room, prepared the dinner and served the dinner and made it a very enjoyable evening for all.

Each year at the Elks Grand Lodge Convention, The Enrique Camarena Award is presented. Enrique S. It is given to a law enforcement officer who have made a significant contribution in drug prevention and who personify Enrique belief that one person can make a difference.
