However, the big treat was the unveiling of the new baseball field at Orange H S. Every year, the Major League Baseball Groundskeepers and the Baseball Tomorrow Fund select  a baseball field for a renovation service project.

The project this year was spearheaded by Barney Lopas, Director of Field Operations for the California Angels, with assistance from nine members of his grounds crew and grounds keepers from approximately 25 MLB Clubs. The baseball field is the home field of the Orange High School baseball teams and will be used the Orange Little League and the Parks and Recreation Department. If you are a baseball fan stop by and watch a game on a major league field!
