One hundred and six children from twenty three countries became the newest U.S. citizens in a ceremony at the Richard Nixon Presential Library and Museum.
They are receiving a Certificate of Citizenship that serves as evidence that they are U.S. citizens. They were born abroad and are claiming U.S. citizenship through their parents. The ceremony started with a slide show that pictured some of the famous landmarks in the United States and included comments from other new citizens. The Esperanza High School Honor Guard presented the Colors.
