If its May, the Orange Elks will honor the youth of our community by showcasing the many programs the Lodge has for our young people.  All our guests were treated to a spaghetti and meatball dinner prepared and served by our volunteer cooks.

Our Master of Ceremonies, Loyal Knight Paul Polasky welcomed our award winners, their parents, our guests and lodge members.

Paul with Elroy

Augie Rocha, Orange P D, School Resource Officer and Investigator was our Guest Speaker. In his talk, he emphasized that you can’t be perfect all the time. But you can keep learning from your mistakes and never give up.

Our Dictionary Program Chairman Al Montano stated that on the third Wednesday of October our lodge distributed 1996 dictionaries to 27 schools and visiting 84 classrooms. The goal is a dictionary for every third graders in the city of Orange. In our fourteenth years we have delivered over thirty thousand dictionaries.

Cameron Doan, Miss California Outstanding Teen and Elroy T. Elk  helped present the awards. Elroy is the face of our Orange Lodge and our mascot for all our youth activities.
