Several times a year the Orange Elks Lodge # 1475 Veterans Committee hold an Omelet Bar. This month was a very special one. The committee learned that a Veteran and his family were being evicted from a motel because his authorization to a transitional home would not happen until February 1st. This event included a raffle and the omelet bar. Hoping to raise $500 to cover the expenses for the next 11 days, the event raised nearly $650. Our Veterans Committee continues to show that events like this prove that B.P.O.E. really stand for the “Best People on Earth”!
