The Orange Elks Lodges 2012 Veterans Program was attended by one hundred and thirty six people.  The lodge recognized and celebrated 36 members who served our country in the military. 17 from the Army, 7 from the Navy, 5 from the Air Force, 6 from the Marine Corps and 1 from the Merchant Marine/Coast Guard.

The lodge recognized Jim Duncan and Armand Cruz who both served in World War II.

We honored the memory of Bonifacio “Barney” Rodriguez, U S Marine Corps  who passed away earlier this year. Barney was a 17 year member of our lodge. Barney was the Ambassador of Goodwill for the Orange Coast District. He is best known as an avid collector of Elks pins.

“Thank you for serving our county and for defending our lives, liberties and freedom. We are truly grateful for you"

“As long as there is a Vet, the Orange Elks will never forget” Thank you for your service to our country, we are truly grateful to you. Next time you see a soldier, walk up to a them and say “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!”
