Orange and the Veterans

A very busy few weeks for the Orange Elks Lodge #1475 in supporting our military. Our motto is “As long as there is a Vet, the Orange Elks will never forget”.
At the lodge’s annual flag ceremony, we honored and thanked our veterans that included Orange Elks and a World War II veteran Armand Cruz.

Next up was Christmas in July at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital where we worked with other Elk members from the Orange Coast District playing bingo with the veterans and providing chips, cookies and drinks. Each veteran was given a tee shirt. The veterans played bingo for over $300 in prize money.
