“As long as there is a Veteran, the Orange Elks will never forget”. Several times a year the Orange Elks and other lodges in the Orange Coast District go play Bingo with the Veterans at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital. Recently, Orange teamed up with Santa Ana and Garden Grove to do just that. There were twenty seven veterans twelve were blind veterans and eleven Orange. Each veteran receive a fleece throw, a beanie and. Refreshments were served and each veteran was a winner. These Veterans are people who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America, for an amount up to and including their life.
